Having issues with EZ Corridor Key on Apple Silicon? This might help.
This tutorial is a follow-up to my previous video testing EZ Corridor Key. I was getting really strange results from the generated matte, the alpha hint looked great, but the final output was way off.
Ed, the creator of EZ Corridor Key, suggested switching the processing backend from MLX to MPS in the preferences. That alone made a huge difference for me. The results went from basically unusable to something I’d actually be happy working with.
I’m still just experimenting with EZ Corridor Key, but when it works, it’s seriously impressive. The alpha hint in particular is incredibly accurate and something I’d happily use in a real workflow.
Big shoutout to Ed and everyone working on this, they’re doing an amazing job. It’s really exciting seeing tools like this evolve so quickly.
