In this episode of The Passion Project, we meet Chris Watters, Manager of Royston Town Football Club, as he shares his passion for the game and his love for the club.

This summer, I reached out to Royston Town FC after learning they were seeking assistance with social media content. I saw The Passion Project as a perfect fit. Royston Town is a non-league team competing in the Southern League Premier Division Central. After attending a few home games, I knew their story would make a great addition to the series.

To me, non-league football embodies the true spirit of the game. It’s community-focused, with approachable staff and players who genuinely care about the club and its supporters. There’s something special about seeing your ticket fee directly support a local team. It fosters a positive, welcoming environment that resonates with football fans on a deeply personal level.

This episode marks the beginning of a series of stories I’ll be creating about Royston Town FC over the next year. Stay tuned for more insights into the club’s passion, culture, and community.
